Cross Draft
A Crossdraft Spray Booth uses air that flows directly across the painted object. Car and Truck painting most often use Crossdraft paint booth's as they provide the most economical solution for painting while meeting industrial codes. With a Crossdraft design the air is drawn directly through the main doors or through filtered columns in the front corners of a paint booth workspace, The exhaust is pulled through the back wall or a set of columns in the rear.
The airflow against the object travels a shorter distance than a crossdraft reducing the contaminants from affecting any spray work.
Many of the economical advantages of a cross-draft, where often the booth can be built without concrete work or additional materials
The painter will remain in the way of the exhaust airflow and will still be affected by overspray.
The booth will contain Dead Zones because of the diagonal shape of the air, any work being done within the deadzones will produce unpredictable results with poor exhaust.
A painter will require advance planning to ensure a proper work to be completed, and maintain a clean work space during each project, as deadzones within a booth may create swirling of contaminants during a spray.
Down Draft Systems
Down Draft and Semi-Down Draft spray booths operate similarly to crossdraft installations, but uses a different configuration for airflow, full down and semi down draft installations changes how the air flows over the project and where it exhausts from the workspace. In Down-Draft systems the incoming air is introduced from the ceiling and typically uses a rooftop intake.

Open Face
An Open Face spray booth provides the most affordable full-size booth for spray-work. The air intake comes from the open face front of the booth and exhausted through a filtered back portion.
Ideal for smaller single-item work within limited spaces, providing easy personal access to the object.
Very economical as the booth does not operate as a complete enclosure
Provides the least control over airflow on any spray project, requiring very close attention and good planning of the worker to maintain quality.
The lack of enclosure may require additional tooling in order to maintain building codes, such as heated air make-up units.
For Trucks
Large vehicle, multi-vehicle, or large space booths can also be built allowing for maximum effectiveness in spray work. A double cross draft design and surround lighting provide the best environment for spray work of this nature.

Requires a large space (indoor or outdoor) and good planning by skilled individuals, as this build is one of the more costly booths offered.

These assemply line booth options provide the best finishing option for any multi-product assembly or finishing process.We are able to customize our booths to fit tow-line, enclosed track, or I-Beam conveyors - or - we can provide a complete conveyor installation to best suit your intended work-flow accordingly

Bench Booth
Air Make-Up Units also known as Make-Up Air Units, provide fresh air into work areas - air pressure from these units work together with an exhausting mechanism to ensure a steady exchange flow of air.
Exhaust Fans
Exhaust fans can combine with AMUs to provide air exchange into a work area. Exhausting fans provide both depressurization and removal of unwanted air. Please contact us for specification to ensure you acquire the adequate exhaust for volume and pressure
Air Ducting
Star Spray Booths can manufacture and install all Air Ducting, Pipe Stack, or Exhaust Stack as needed. These include High Volocity Dampers, Exhaust Dampers, Flashings, Pipe Sets, Round Pipes, and Square Pipes. See above gallery for more details.
